During his 35-year career as an Advanced Placement American History teacher, Lloyd received numerous awards, including High School Teacher of the Year in his district and the National Society's of the Sons of the American Revolution Outstanding American History Teacher Award. Serving as the Social Studies Department Chair for 27 years, he impacted the lives of many new teachers. Although his students claimed he was the toughest teacher in the school, many returned to thank him for preparing them for college. Lloyd is an expert at building positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers.
Lloyd earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of North Texas.
